I saw this book flying across my Goodreads time line at super speed and knew it would be a book for me but I usually stay away from books when they are this popular. There’s only so much vacuuming, dishes, cleaning of trinkets with a toothbrush and lip gloss application I can take. The book is dragging its feet like a reluctant child. They meet as friends and both he and his boy eventually befriend both Rob and Matty, and through them both men find the path they need to take to emotional recovery.

I love the intensity of this book, the angst, the anguish and pain, the depth of their feelings and the way they fight for their HEA. The kink in this book was so well done.

BDSM can be harsh, but the sex scenes in this book are so incredibly well written and meaningful they never detract from the story.
