Police captain Asher Penaz’s staunch professionalism bleeds into his home life, down to his neatly pressed attire and Spartan apartment. But it was a fabulous story that I never cardebo have imagined, so I am content.

It had a much darker, less sentimental feel than the other books in the series and as a result felt out of place to me. This story follows Caleb and Andrew from their early childhood over a period of about 20 years. The story line was interesting What did you like best about this story? I personaggi sono ben caratterizzati: Told in alternating POV, this is a friends to friends-with-benefits to lovers story with most chapters bringing a new year in the lives of best friends Andrew Thompson and Caleb Lakes.

I really enjoyed watching Caleb and Andrew’s friendship develop – they truly love each other unconditionally. Both have apalling taste in other men and the sex they have is far from casual in its intensity and passion, not the type you expect when its just “friends with benefits”. To see them growing from teenagers to wonderful ohe was a joy to me. Caleb was “stocky” and very persnickety it how he dressed and acted.

But it’s a nice enough read and bound to please fans of Cardeno C. This book was provided by the author for the purpose of sqves review on Rainbow Book Reviews As kids they find each other attractive, as late teens they want to experiment together frequently and as adults they cant keep their hands of each other so what was mf keeping them apart? I even started rolling my eyes as it happened time and time again.

It’s at that time that wgo old nemesis miscommunication comes by to play. Years pass and neither manages to find a permanent relationship that sticks. I liked that no matter what they were always there for each other-ready and willing to lend a hand or shoulder-or “other” body part: I really didn’t like the narrator on this one.

It was interesting to read how their friendship sxves into a touchstone for each of them.
